NTC Bursary Program

Discounted Tennis Memberships and Pickleball Season’s Passes for Folks Experiencing Financial Hardship

With the support of the Nelson Lion’s Club, and the Nelson Credit Union, the NTC is offering a limited number of discounted memberships to individuals and families keen to enjoy tennis and pickleball but who are struggling to make ends meet during these difficult times. All ages and skill levels are welcome to apply under the bursary program.

Do not apply for this bursary if you have a youngster who would like to sign up for Matt Martin’s popular Summer Tennis Camps. Instead, please apply to KidSport or the Canadian Tire Jump Start financial support programs.

Benefits of the Bursary Program include: a discounted 2023 tennis membership or pickleball season’s pass which provides access to the courts; spring coaching sessions for newbies; drop-in round-robin play; men’s and women’s tennis nights; access to racquets and equipment; and, if desired, additional coaching opportunities (fees apply).

The NTC values equal opportunity and inclusivity, so if you, or someone you know, is keen to play and needs financial support, apply for a bursary by completing the following brief questionnaire. Only 3 Board Members will review the applications, which will then be deleted once the program is completed. Apply now as bursaries are limited and awarded on a first-come first-serve basis.

Application Deadline: Extended! Please fill-out and submit!
